Back to School

Yup...I know this is a little late...but I had planned to post these pics on our family website. Then, when I decided I was going to cancel the fam website, I just had to put the pics on AAEDS (that would be Artichokes and Egg Drop Soup).

So far, each Blackmon kid has asked for an alarm clock for the start of Kinder. So, Bethany and Caleb both used their alarm clocks to wake up at 6:30 AM. They immediately got dressed and came downstairs to crawl in bed with Daddy for some snuggle time. Dad loved it too!



I couldn't resist taking this picture. Caleb is such a little Todd, and so I was really touched at how much our boy adores his daddy.



Grammy happened to be there for the first day, because after visiting for the previous weekend, their car died on the way out of town on Sunday. Grampy and Grammy had to stay another night...they really weren't too sad! Grampy is the one under the sheet...he obviously didn't get up to see the kids off...didn't wake up either when they poked him or when we took this picture!






Bethany's second grade teacher is Mrs. Hall (by the way, Beth picked out her first day of school outfit two months before school started!). Caleb's Kinder Teacher is Mrs. Stout. We are excited about the year, and have already warned both teachers to be ready to enforce their classroom management policies!
